Junior Automation Engineer – Chesterfield
Redkite is working exclusively with a growing System Integrator within the Automation sector in their search for a Junior Controls / Automation Engineer to be based from their offices in Chesterfield.

The Position:
In this new position you will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing industrial automation systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems. You will be working closely with other teams such as mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to ensure that automation systems meet safety and performance requirements.
Internal training will be provided where required to help your future career development within the business.
What we are looking for:
Qualification in industrial automation, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Programming skills in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text.
Experience with industrial control systems
Full UK driving license.
Minimum of a years’ experience in industrial automation engineering, specifically with PLC programming and control system design in an industrial setting.
