Redkite is working with a growing company within the Measurement industry to assist them in their search for an experienced Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer.
The Company:
They are a well known name within the Industrial Engineering / Lean Manufacturing sector providing a comprehensive range of measurement and inspection systems, instruments and related services to manufacturing companies throughout the UK and Ireland.
The Position:
The role of Applications Engineer is a highly technical position where no two days are the same which requires strong problem solving skills, good general engineering knowledge and customer service skills.
Ideally you will have knowledge of Vision Measurement Systems and fixturing, FAI, PPAP, APQP Gauge Studies.
Build up a strong rapport with customers, OEM’s and colleagues.
Develop, implement and support metrology and inspection solutions for customers.
To be a team player and show initiative planning out day to day workloads
We need an active metrologist who can read and interpret drawings and actively solve measurement challenges. Its customer facing as much as it is technical.
An understanding of the entire inspection process from ballooning of a drawing, creation of the inspection plan, the metrology solutions through to the compliance reporting
