A leading global manufacturer of variable frequency drives is looking to strengthen its engineering team with a Power Electronics Design Engineer. The business designs and develops sophisticated motor control technology used across industrial automation and energy-saving applications worldwide.
As part of the Power Stage Design team, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of electronic design — from simulation and analysis through to schematic layout, testing, and validation. This is a technically hands-on role developing next-generation products that drive performance, efficiency, and reliability across a diverse range of applications.
You’ll work closely with a team of experienced engineers, contributing to circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration. The position offers the chance to take ownership of design projects, apply advanced problem-solving skills, and push forward innovation in high-performance power electronics.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have experience in power electronics design, simulation, and testing. A good understanding of AC motor control is essential, and experience with Altium Designer, MATLAB/PSIM, or firmware development for DSP-based control would be an advantage.
