Account Manager - Sheffield
Location: Sheffield & surrounding area (home-based with travel)
Were working with a leading distributor of industrial automation & control products to recruit an Account Manager for the Sheffield region. This is a field-based sales role focused on managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers while identifying and converting new opportunities.
The role will include:
- Managing a territory of ~70 accounts with a combined spend of c.£2M
- Visiting customers 4 days a week to strengthen relationships and grow sales
- Following up on marketing leads and generating new business opportunities
- Working with internal sales and technical specialists to deliver value to customers
- Providing trusted advice and positioning automation and control solutions
Were looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in sales and new business development
- Is motivated, resilient, organised, and confident in front of customers
- Enjoys building relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Has an interest in automation, control, or other technical solutions (training provided)
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English as a minimum
