Vision Applications Consultant UK (Field-Based)

A leading distributor of industrial automation and control products is looking to appoint a Vision Applications Consultant to help drive the growth of their machine vision offering across the UK. This is a technical, customer-focused role supporting the sales teams with pre-sales expertise, demonstrations, proposals, and solution development for a wide range of vision applications.

Youll take the lead on working with customers, partners, and internal teams to develop vision opportunities, build proposals, deliver proof-of-concepts, and demonstrate how the right solution can improve quality, efficiency and overall performance. The role involves regular customer visits, close collaboration with the wider automation and mechatronics teams, and taking full ownership of the vision sales pipeline within your region.

The position would suit someone with previous experience working with industrial vision systems who enjoys combining technical know-how with commercial awareness. Youll need to be confident presenting solutions to customers, supporting sales teams, and managing opportunities from initial lead through to delivery. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders are essential.
